My niece, Zara, is 22 months old and she knows the alphabet quite well though she has a tendency to get confused sometimes. I read this book with her and she was delighted by the animals which led to us stopping frequently to make the sound the animal in question makes. The language in the book is fresh and fun and I love that it introduces many different words to the child than just A is for Apple. The art is full of life; bright and colourful and often with little stories in them. This means that the book works as more than just a simple tool to learn the alphabet; it is also full of stories if the parent is willing to tell them.

Concluding thoughts: Buy this for the baby in your life!
